Design, development and piloting of a Machine-Assisted Crisis Simulation (MACS) Methodology, Toolkit and Prototype Simulations

The UNSSC is developing and piloting the Machine-Assisted Crisis Simulation (MACS) Methodology: a learning methodology that combines strategic foresight, crisis simulation and AI-assisted learning support, in which AI acts as a dynamic scenario engine, inject generator and decision-support challenger while humans retain control over learning objectives and facilitation. The initiative deliberately prioritizes methodology over technology. UNSSC is not seeking the development of a standalone AI platform, but a reusable, tool-agnostic methodology and toolkit that enables facilitators to design and deliver adaptive, scalable and context-specific simulations.
