Samoa BGI-IP: Natural Capital, DST, NbS & Capacity Consultancy

Introduction

UNDP Samoa invites qualified consulting firms and consortia to submit proposals for the Integration of Nature in Key Economic Sectors through Targeted Economic, Governance, and Financial Interventions under the GEF-funded Blue Green Island Integrated Programme – Coastal Resilience Samoa (BGI-IP CRS) project. The selected supplier will deliver an 18-month, interdisciplinary assignment (390 working days) focused on institutionalizing nature-positive decision-making across Samoa’s tourism and agriculture sectors. Key deliverables include updating and expanding priority Natural Capital Accounting (NCA) modules (e.g., energy, water, waste, mangroves, coral reefs, seagrass, and forests) into the Tourism Satellite Account and national accounts; developing and deploying user-friendly, open-source National and Local Decision Support Tools (DST) to evaluate Nature-based Solutions (NbS); and delivering a comprehensive capacity development program targeting national and local stakeholders.
