The Consultant is expected to commence the assignment in November 2026 and conclude in May 2027. The primary objective is to support the practical application of the Blue Carbon Readiness Framework (BCRF) by strengthening stakeholder engagement, coordination, and partnership development at national and site levels. The Consultant will help connect the readiness assessment with relevant stakeholders and support the identification of actions, partnerships, and support required to improve the readiness of potential blue carbon initiatives. The Consultant will be responsible for contributions to the following technical domains:
  1. Stakeholder Engagement and Coordination
  2. BCRF Pilot Application and Site-Level Readiness Assessment
  3. Partnership Mapping and Development
  4. Readiness Gap and Support Identification
  5. Dialogue, Stakeholder Consultation, and Partnership Engagement
  6. Identification of Blue Carbon Project Opportunities
  7. Lessons Learned, Recommendations, and Support for Further Application of the BCRF
Period of assignment/services: 110 working days within 7 months

The assignment is home-based, with travel to Jakarta and other locations within Indonesia as required and subject to prior approval.
