Provision for In-depth assessment of child nutrition service provision to identify the root causes for service gaps in selected sentinel sites in Sri Lanka per the attached TOR.

Objectives
The objective of this assignment is to adapt and implement, at the country level, comprehensive methodology to identify the root causes for the gaps in child nutrition service provision in selected sentinel sites of Sri Lanka to ensure optimum service provision in future for the betterment of child nutrition outcome indicators.

The recruited organization is expected to provide professional technical support to:
Conduct an in-depth assessment of child nutrition service provision to identify the root causes for service gaps in selected sentinel sites in Sri Lanka.

Team: The Family Health Bureau, MoH
Role: The Research Unit, Family Health Bureau is the focal point and overall coordinator of this survey. The FHB Child Nutrition Programme will be the technical lead on methodology and tools, providing technical backstopping, quality assurance, and harmonization of the country-level methodology, tools, and monitoring framework with the cross-country approach.

Team: UNICEF
Role: Supervisory and supportive, providing overall technical oversight on the assignment and alignment with the global methodology. Facilitates government and stakeholder engagement, in-country logistics and coordination with UNICEF partners as appropriate.

Team: Local institution/firm with a Lead Public Health Specialist
Role: Implementing partner: Responsible for in-country adaptation of tools, obtaining ethical clearance, data collection, analysis, and final report writing.
