Provision of Evidence-Review and Technical Secretariat support to the Philippine National Immunization Technical Advisory Group (NITAG)

WHO is seeking for a qualified, eligible and competent proposer for the Provision of Evidence-Review and Technical Secretariat support to the Philippine National Immunization Technical Advisory Group (NITAG). Pursuant to Department of Health Administrative Order No. 2025-0016, the NITAG serves as an independent technical advisory body that provides evidence-informed recommendations on vaccines and immunization to the Department of Health (DOH). The NITAG reviews available scientific evidence and relevant national considerations to support transparent and credible immunization policy decisions.

The Philippines is preparing for and implementing important developments related to new vaccine introduction and programme expansion. These include, among others, the introduction of rotavirus vaccine, expansion of the human papillomavirus vaccination programme, and consideration of other new or underutilized vaccines based on national priorities.
