New clarification added: Q1: Could you please confirm whether a stand-on VNA stacker may be offered as an alternative to the specified walk-behind (walkie) operating configuration?Considering the required minimum lifting height of 7,500 mm and minimum load capacity of 500 kg at maximum lifting height, the walk-behind configuration may have limitations in achieving these requirements. Therefore, a stand-on VNA stacker may be required to fully meet the specified lifting height and load capacity.Kindly confirm whether a stand-on VNA stacker would be acceptable.UNOPS Response: The bidder shall comply with the specifications provided in the tender documents. A stand-on VNA stacker will not be accepted as an alternative to the specified walk-behind (walkie) operating configuration.

New clarification added: The Bangladesh Standards and Testing Institution (BSTI) conducts mandatory certification for electronic products. Electric forklifts fall within the scope of this certification management. Are there any simplified procedures or exemptions applicable to them?UNOPS Response: Based on the list of mandatory products published on the BSTI website, electric forklifts do not appear to require mandatory BSTI certification. However, the bidder shall verify with BSTI whether the proposed electric forklift is subject to any applicable certification requirements and obtain official confirmation, if necessary. If certification is required, the bidder shall comply with the applicable regulatory requirements and submit the relevant certification. No exemption shall be assumed without official confirmation from BSTI.
