Dear Bidder, The International Labour Office (ILO) is looking for an individual to undertake work as an External Collaborator. Below is a summary of the work to be performed: The International Labour Organization (ILO), through the Setting Adequate Wages (SAW) Project and Living Wage Programme, is seeking an External Collaborator to provide technical, research, analytical and stakeholder-engagement support for a proposed multi-stakeholder dialogue on pathways towards improved wage outcomes in the Assam tea sector, including issues related to living wages. The assignment will include reviewing and synthesising relevant evidence; mapping key stakeholders and institutions; supporting preparatory consultations; and reviewing and operationalising the draft dialogue concept note and indicative agenda. The External Collaborator will also support session planning, identification of potential speakers and panellists, preparation of technical and briefing materials, and documentation and synthesis of the dialogue. Candidates should have a university degree in a relevant discipline and at least three years of relevant professional experience, including experience in research/evidence synthesis, stakeholder engagement and multi-stakeholder or policy dialogue processes. Familiarity with the tea sector, wages and living wages, agricultural value chains and/or sustainability issues will be an advantage. Excellent written and oral communication skills in English are required. The assignment will exclude overall logistical, event-management and operational responsibilities.
