Section II: Schedule of Requirements 4.4 / 4.6 & 4.14 :    Tender Specifications / Conditions : As mentioned in clause 4.4 the minimum Rack load is 1000 kg., & 4.14 Racking compatibility minimum load is 500 Kg. per pallet position    4.6 – MOC 100% Virgin HDPE.    Our Query: Please confirm the exact rack load requirement as per rack drawing and load, it is 500 Kg.,    If we go by Clause 4.6 the MOC is 100% virgin HDPE, however if load is 1000 Kg., then MOC will change to Virgin HDPE + Steel reinforcement, so please clarify the load on Racking system.UNOPS Response: Please follow the loading requirements specified in the tender specifications and drawings. The rack system is designed for 500 kg per pallet position, while the pallets shall have a minimum load capacity of 1,000 kg to provide an adequate safety margin and ensure safe use when pallets are placed directly on the floor or used independently of the racking system.2. Section II: Schedule of Requirements / Clause Delivery requirements and comparative data table / heading: Delivery Time :   Tender Specifications / Conditions :As per tender requirement, delivery timeline for entire supplies of Pallet is with a maximum period of 75 calendar days from date of contract award, including       shipment, delivery, installation and commissioning wherever applicable.   Our Query :Since due to war in West Asia & blockage in Hormuz Street and Red Sea passage the entire shipping industry has got hit by delay in sailing time, due to shipping vessels / containers are     stuck in the above areas, hence there is severe shortage of vessels / containers, also there is Raw Material shortage too..so considering the above points, please increase the timelines for entire supplies   of pallet to maximum period of 90 calendar days instead of 75 calendar days.UNOPS Response: UNOPS acknowledges the potential shipping and raw material supply constraints. However, considering the overall project completion timeline, the requested extension to 90 calendar days cannot be accommodated. The delivery period shall remain 75 calendar days, as specified in the tender documents  

New clarification added: 4.44 Structural Analysis: Detailed structural and seismic analysis report shall be submitted :-        The allowable floor load capacity is an important input for the structural assessment and verification of the proposed racking system, particularly for evaluating the adequacy of the warehouse floor/slab under the imposed rack loads, including the upright/column loads and associated load distribution.Therefore, we kindly request UNOPS to provide the following information for the proposed rack installation area:Allowable floor load capacity: ______ kN/m²Any applicable concentrated/point load capacity, if availableAny relevant floor/slab structural drawings or specifications, if available. An allowable uniformly distributed floor load of 5.0 kN/m² shall be considered for the proposed racking area.4.45 Material Testing: Materials Testing Report issued by BUET, MIST or another government-approved institution :-          With reference to the requirement under the technical specifications stating that the “Materials Testing Report [shall be] issued by BUET, MIST or another government-approved institution,” we would like to seek clarification regarding the              timing of submission of this report. As the testing process through BUET/MIST or other approved institutions generally requires approximately 14–28 days to complete, including sample submission, testing, and issuance of the official test report, it            may not be practically feasible to obtain and submit the final test report together with the tender submission. Furthermore, the required testing involves associated testing and laboratory costs, which would normally be incurred for the specific                    materials and proposed technical solution after confirmation of the order. Therefore, we kindly request UNOPS to clarify whether the Material Testing Report may be submitted after contract award and prior to commencement of                              manufacturing/supply or installation, as applicable. We confirm that, if awarded the contract, ASML will arrange the required material testing through BUET, MIST, or another government-approved institution and submit the official test                   report within the required timeframe, at our own cost, before proceeding with the relevant supply/installation activities. We would appreciate your kind confirmation on the above arrangement.UNOPS Response: Material TestingResponse: Qualified bidders shall submit material samples, recommended test reports, and all relevant supporting documents for approval prior to commencement of the respective manufacturing process. Conducting this rigorous engineering analysis, especially for the specialized VNA (Very Narrow Aisle) racking system, requires more time than the current deadline allows.2.
