The stock the sampling and lab testing has been done. The results will be provided in the tender annoucement.b& c) See the response aboved) It is unknown at the moment, yet not expected that there is any co-contamination within the stockpile.QUESTION:Physical Inventory & Packaging Statusa) Physical State: What is the exact physical state breakdown of the inventory (e.g., liquid, sludge, solid, contaminated soils)b) Packaging Condition: What is the current condition of the packaging and containment? New clarification added: QUESTIONS:PCB-contaminated oil: concentration ranges and quantitiesPage 6 of the RFI Schedule of Requirements describes the on-site implementation tasks for PCB-contaminated oil. Oil at 50–200 ppm and oil above 200 ppm are handled differently. Kindly confirm whether the approximately 523 tonnes of PCB-contaminated oil under Activity 2 include both concentration ranges. If so, we would be grateful if you could indicate the estimated quantity in each range. This will allow us to reflect the correct handling, packaging and disposal approach in our indicative cost estimate.Extension of the submission deadlineThe RFI asks for information on several partners to execute whol planned to be tendered our assignment. We are currently consolidating this information with our partners. To present a complete response covering all required partners, we would like to request a two-week extension of the submission deadline, from 13 October 2026 to 27 October 2026.ANSWER:1. Under this RFI, we don't have the detailed information of the quantity. The final quantity will be provided later during the actual tender process (ITB/RFP). Kindly put the cost estimate based on the concentration of 50-200ppm, and provide unit cost for oil above 200 ppm separately.2. As of now, we will stick as per initial RFI deadline of Tuesday, 13 October 2026. Hope you can still manage to submit the RFI within the deadline.Best Regards

New clarification added: QUESTION:Thank you for publishing RFI/2026/64767 on the disposal of the PCB and DDT stockpile in Papua New Guinea. BlackForest Solutions GmbH is interested in this assignment. Before we prepare our response, we would be grateful if you could clarify two points.Scope of Task B (Contract mobilization)Section 2 lists Task B among the tasks that "the contractor shall perform". Task B covers drafting the ToR for the DDT disposal contractor, launching the Request for Proposal, managing clarifications, evaluating submissions, and negotiating, awarding and administering the contract. These activities normally sit with the procuring entity. Kindly clarify:a) whether the supplier/contractor for the current tender is expected to run a separate procurement process for a DDT disposal contractor on behalf of UNOPS/CEPA, or whether Task B describes UNOPS's own procurement activities;b) if it is the former, whether DDT disposal will be contracted as a separate package while PCB disposal stays within the contractor's direct scope; andc) whether UNOPS procurement rules and templates would apply to that process.Composition of the responseFollowing point 1, we would like to know whether our response should present one confirmed PCB disposal partner (with MoU and licence copy) together with a list of potential candidates for DDT disposal, in line with the selection process under Task B. If instead UNOPS expects a confirmed disposal partner for both DDT and PCB at the current-/latter RFP stage, we would appreciate your confirmation.ANSWER:Thank you for your clarification request.1) The scope of work defined in Task B is for UNOPS. We will update the document taking out this Task B accordingly through RFI amendment.2) As the Task B has been corrected, the response should include combined PCB and DDT disposal proposal.Best Regards
