Organization of a Regional Youth Forum on Noncommunicable Diseases

WHO is seeking for a qualified, eligible and competent proposer for the Organization of a Regional Youth Forum on Noncommunicable Diseases.

The Regional Youth Forum will be centred on tobacco control and youth-led tobacco control advocacy, while also covering other NCD risk factors and social and commercial determinants of health. The contractor will provide technical, programme-management and logistical support and will use inclusive, participatory and youth-centred methods.

The assignment will culminate in a forum, agreed advocacy and policy outputs, and a final report with practical recommendations for sustained youth engagement in the implementation of the regional acceleration plan for tobacco control, subject to its consideration by Member States at the seventy-seventh session of the WHO Regional Committee for the Western Pacific (RC77), as well as in broader NCD prevention programmes in the Western Pacific Region.
