The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) is currently implementing the project "00108340 / Strategic Initiatives Engagement Facility-Sustainable Develop & Resilience," for which it requires the services of up to three (3) consultants to carry out the work described in this document.

Title/Services: Consultant to provide technical assistance on the delivery of Impact Management and Measurement support as part of UNDPs Sustainable Finance offer.

Contract Type: Long-Term Agreement (Framework Agreement, FA), Individual Contract; up to three (3) consultants.

Duty Station: Remote (Home-based).

Contract Period: 3 years, with a maximum of 420 working days during the period.

Estimated Start Date: October 2026.

General Introduction, Assignment Description:
As the lead United Nations agency on international development, UNDP works in 170 countries to eradicate poverty and reduce inequality. Aligned with the UNDP Strategic Plan 2026-2029, the Regional Programme for Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC) identifies sustainable finance as a key accelerator.

UNDPs service offer on SDG Impact Measurement and Management (IMM) is designed to help governments, investors, and enterprises ensure that financing decisions translate into measurable social and environmental results aligned with the SDGs.

Objective of the Consultancy:
To establish a Long-Term Agreement for the provision of technical consultancy services related to SDG Impact Management and Measurement as part of UNDPs Sustainable Finance offer and to contribute to the implementation of the Regional Programme for LAC 2026-2029.

Under the supervision of the SDG Finance Specialist at the UNDP Regional Hub, the consultant(s) will support the advancement and implementation of UNDPs SDG Impact agenda across the region.

Some of the activities the consultant will be required to perform include:

1. Conducting activities related to the promotion of IMM and the use of SDG Impact Standards.

2. Tailoring and delivering training and capacity-building programs on IMM for UNDP Country Offices and their partners.

3. Preparing and delivering training related to IMM to a broad range of public and private actors.

4. Rolling out the “Small Business, Big Impact” guide in the LAC region for integrating IMM in MSMEs.

5. Organizing peer-to-peer exchanges between UNDP Country Offices and the Panama Hub and Sustainable Finance Hub (SFH) teams.

The proposal must be submitted directly through the portal before the deadline indicated in the system: No later than Wednesday, September 29th, 2026 - 15:00 hrs. - EST - Eastern Standard Time (New York, U.S.A. time). 

If there is any discrepancy between the deadlines in the system and those indicated elsewhere, the deadline registered in the system shall prevail.
