Provision of Operation & Maintenance of Engineering Services & Minor Alterations/Renovation Works in all UNAMA Compounds in Afghanistan

The United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA) invites companies to express their interest to participate in upcoming bidding exercise for the "Operation & Maintenance of Engineering Services & Minor Alterations/Renovation Works" in all UNAMA Compounds in Afghanistan. All services shall be in accordance with statement of requirement and other related documents indicated in the bidding documents. EXTENT OF WORK: The Scope of Work (SOW) covers operation and maintenance of Engineering Services in UNAMA Compounds in Afghanistan at miscellaneous locations, including but not limited to the following: a. Air Conditioning and HVAC b. Electrical c. Plumbing & Water Sanitation d. Carpentry e. Welding/ Metal Works f. Painting g. Building Maintenance IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS: This REOI will be used to pre-screen potential bidders. The solicitation documents will be issued after the REOI closing date only to those potential bidders which will have submitted documents that clearly and indisputably confirm / prove compliance with the below listed mandatory specific pre-screening requirements. Specific Requirements/Information 1. United Nations Global Market Place (UNGM) Registration is Mandatory. Company should be registered in UNGM, level 2 registration is preferred. If not registered, you can register using the link ttps://www.ungm.org. Please provide proof of UNGM registration and level. 2. Relevant corporate information demonstrating that the bidder’s main business activity is Construction, Maintenance and Operations Services (e.g., trade license, certificate of incorporation, industry accreditation or certification and contract references). 3. A detailed corporate background and Company Profile showing its institutional capabilities as well as proof that it has been involved in the Construction as well as Engineering Maintenance and Operations Services for at least 6 years (Documentary proof of relevant experience to be provided). 4. Minimum of two (2) written client references including copies of Purchase Orders (POs), Contracts or Contract Completion Certificates for the similar services delivered for minimum value of US$1,000,000, each project. 5. Confirmation that all materials/elements/components used will have a minimum of one-year warranty from the date of installation (letter of undertaking to be provided).
