New clarification added: Question:Telonics:Additional options that you may want to consider are if you need a collar release and the reinforcement CAST type that you need around the electronics.For predator collars, CAST-1 is required, and CAST-5 is recommended. Cast-1 is a reinforcement casting around the electronics canister to prevent damage and Cast-5 is a reinforcement casting around the dorsal GPS & Satellite antenna to prevent damage that could cause low data success rates. Do the collars need a COLLAR RELEASE DEVICE?Will these be for male and female? Do males fight? Do the male collars need reinforcement CAST?UNOPS Answer:The collars will be used for predator monitoring. Therefore, the collars shall be provided with CAST-1 reinforcement for the electronics housing and CAST-5 protection for the dorsally mounted GPS/Iridium antenna. A programmable collar release device shall also be provided. The bidder shall ensure that the proposed configuration is compatible with the selected Telonics modeQuestion:Clemco : Please also confirm the model for the Clemco Industries air sand device listed below, as this device only comes in 20L, 40L, 60L, etc., sizes but not a 28L product.UNOPS Answer:The required model is Clemco Classic Series Model 1042, 1 cu. ft. (approximately 28.3 L), complete with the required remote-control system and accessories.Both specs and BOQ are amended accordingly. Please check the Revised Documents under the Documents Tab

New clarification added: Question:Is a Jordanian or Lebanse company allowed to offer?UNOPS Answer:Please adhere to the tender criteria listed below. For non-Jordanina suppliers they should have joint venture with a Jordanian suppleir that complies with the tedner criteria in terms of regostartion The Bidder shall have been continuously and legally operating in Jordan for at least the last ten (10) years and shall be registered and authorized to operate in Jordan. The Bidder shall possess a valid commercial registration covering activities relevant to the scope of this RFQ, including at least: Importation, exportation, supply, and trading of electronic and measurement equipment and devices. In the case of a joint venture, at least one of the joint venture partners shall meet the above requirements.
