Provision of Binoculars for UNTSO Jerusalem

The United Nations Truce Supervision Organization (UNTSO) invites expressions of interest from qualified vendors for a one-time supply and delivery of binoculars and night vision equipment, and associated accessories and spare parts in support of its operational requirements. The requirement includes, but is not limited to, the supply of a high-powered binocular telescope with fork mount and permanent pillar stand for outdoor observation purposes, military-grade binoculars with reticle functionality, uncooled handheld thermal binocular night-vision equipment for short-range observation, and related accessories and spare parts. The successful contractor shall be required to supply, transport, and deliver the equipment to UNTSO Headquarters, Government House, Jerusalem, under DAP (Delivered at Place) Incoterms 2020. Specific Requirements/Information IMPORTANT: 1. Please note that this REOI is not an invitation for submission of tenders. Its purpose is to identify contractors that would be interested and eligible to participate in the bidding process when issued. 2. UNTSO reserves the right to change or cancel the requirement during the REOI and/or solicitation process. Thus, submitting a reply to this REOI does not automatically guarantee your company will be invited to participate in the bidding process. Only contractors which in UN's sole discretion are deemed eligible and qualified upon completion of an objective evaluation of their REOI submissions may receive the final tender solicitation documents. 3. Companies interested to be invited to participate in the solicitation process are invited to submit their Expression of Interest and to send a copy of the following documents to the email: rula.backleh@un.org: A. Brief relevant information about the company including the company's profile, capacity/capability and experience. B. Copy of a valid business/trading license. 4. Companies MUST have working experience in provision of similar goods and services. 5. Note that companies that have previously submitted EOI for similar services with UN must re-submit full documentation as detailed above. 6. UNTSO will examine the outcome of this request for EOI and will consider companies who have expressed their interest by providing the required information as to their ability to fulfill the requirement.
