Call for External Collaborator – Support in the Data and Information Collection, Data Quality Assessment and Hospital Systems Documentation for the NSSF Inpatient Costing Preparatory Assessment

Dear Bidder, The International Labour Office (ILO) is looking for an individual to undertake work as an External Collaborator. Below is a summary of the work to be performed: -Coordinate with the international clinical costing expert and ILO Social Protection officers in the planning and implementation of stakeholder engagement, and information and data collection activities. -Support stakeholder engagement by arranging meetings, interviews and follow-up discussions with relevant institutions and hospitals, participating in those meetings, and preparing concise meeting notes and summaries in English. -Collect and document information and sample datasets on hospital financial, clinical activity, billing and patient administration information systems and other relevant institutions through in-person hospital visits and interviews. -Identify and document relevant hospital data repositories, database structures, data custodians, coding frameworks, reporting systems and technical focal points. -Conduct reviews of data availability, data quality, coding practices and overall data quality based on assessment frameworks provided by the clinical costing expert. -Support the review of the NSSF inpatient coding framework and service groupings through information collection, documentation and comparative analysis. -Support the preparation of annotated sample datasets, data structure documentation, inventories, meeting summaries and other materials required for the assessment and planned costing exercise. -Translate and consolidate information, documentation and datasets received in Arabic into English, as required to support the assessment and preparation of outputs.
