Dear Bidder, The International Labour Office (ILO) is looking for an individual to undertake work as an External Collaborator. Below is a summary of the work to be performed: Key responsibilities include: Infrastructure Handover: Conduct joint infrastructure assessments with the Division of Works and Technical Services (DoWTS) in East and West Sepik Provinces; prepare detailed assessment reports covering construction features, road lengths, structural components and related infrastructure for submission to DoWTS alongside the relevant MoU; support local engineers and consultants in preparing and mobilising the final phase of routine road maintenance by Community-based Road Maintenance Groups (CbRMGs); and provide targeted training to DoWTS staff on relevant guidelines and manuals to facilitate an effective handover. Progress Monitoring and Reporting: Prepare detailed monthly progress reports for each road contract, covering achievements, major activities, employment/job creation, challenges and recommendations. Provide technical supervision and payment certification, and prepare reports on training and coaching delivered to community workers, contractor staff and ILO national engineers, including topics, participation, challenges and recommendations.
