PCTENTS-26-01952-RFP - Lot A - Provision of Post-Editing/Translation Services under the Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT) in French and German into English

The PCT Translation Division is seeking multiple suppliers to provide English translations of French, German, Russian and Spanish-language PCT documents (patent abstracts, and patentability reports (WOSAs and IPRP2s)) via either full, human post-editing (hereinafter, “post-editing”) of text in digital format, or human translation (hereinafter, “translation”) and processing of text in image format. The RFP consists of the following 3 lots: Lot A i. The post-editing of Patent Abstracts from French and German into English and the translation of abstract reference drawings in image format from French and German into English; ii. The post-editing of Written Opinions of the Searching Authority (WOSAs) and International Preliminary Reports on Patentability (IPRPs) from French and German into English and the translation of embedded reference drawings in image format from French and German. Lot B iii. The translation of Patent Abstracts from Russian into English, including the translation of abstract reference drawings in image format; iv. The translation of Written Opinions of the Searching Authority (WOSAs) in image format from Russian into English. Lot C v. The translation of Patent Abstracts from Spanish into English, including the translation of abstract reference drawings in image format; vi. The translation of Written Opinions of the Searching Authority (WOSAs) in image format from Spanish into English. Suppliers may bid for Lot A and/or Lot B and/or Lot C. The Qualification envelope (ref. PCTENTS-26-01952-RFP - QUALIFICATION) is common to all 3 lots. Please note that you must complete the qualification process whether you are bidding for one, two or three lots.
