New clarification added: Questions: We would like to seek formal clarifications on the following technical requirements to ensure accurate bid preparation:1. Regarding Central Computer Monitoring Hardware:With reference to the specification for the Central Computer Monitoring & Management Software, please clarify whether the Bidder is required to supply the desktop PC/workstation hardware to host the software, or if the client will provide the necessary hardware?2. Regarding Primary Power Source Infrastructure:The primary AC power source infrastructure and electrical cabling for the Access Control System are not specified in the tender documents. Could you please clarify if the main power line provisioning and electrical cabling work from the power source to the control doors should be included in the Bidder’s scope of work?Answers:1. The Bidder is not required to supply the desktop PC/workstation hardware. However, the offered Access Control Readers must support remote monitoring and management capabilities from a central computer system.2. Primary AC power supply sockets will be provided by UNOPS within the same room as the Access Control System. The Bidder shall be responsible only for supplying and installing the short cabling required to connect the Access Control equipment/readers to these local power sockets.
