Description
Dear Bidder, The International Labour Office (ILO) is looking for an individual to undertake work as an External Collaborator. Below is a summary of the work to be performed: The consultant will lead the statistical workstream to strengthen national and sectoral productivity measurement in Jordan. The consultant will review and map national accounts, labour-force, establishment, administrative and complementary datasets; assess data quality, coverage and harmonisation needs; and examine the feasibility of labour productivity per person and per hour worked, MFP/TFP, quality-adjusted labour input, skills-composition and qualification-mismatch indicators, and within-/between-sector decomposition. The consultant will support compilation and computation of consistent time series, clarify treatment of informality and sector classifications, and prepare a technical productivity measurement framework. The consultant will also design the statistical architecture and prototype structure of a national productivity dashboard linking productivity, jobs and incomes with labour-market and selected sector indicators, contribute statistical inputs to the pilot sector work and dialogue, and participate in the joint inception and final reporting. If you are interested, please express interest and follow the instructions attached to consult the detailed terms of reference and other relevant information in the ILO e-sourcing platform. Please submit your proposal before the specified deadline. Thank you.
