Long-Term Agreements for Travel Management Services for UN Philippines
Long-Term Agreements for Travel Management Services for UN Philippines
In order to achieve cost efficiency from economies of scale while ensuring quality of service, interested UN Agencies will consolidate travel requirements and enter into Long Term Agreements (LTA) with up to two travel LTA holders.
Travel shall apply to all movements or journeys of UN staff from one place to another for official business purposes, both international and domestic. These official purposes include, but need not be limited, to the following:
- Official missions, meetings and various events;
- Appointment and repatriation of staff and family members;
- Home leaves, emergency travels and educational leaves; and
- Visit to project sites, by either UN staff, Government and counterparts, or other entities involved in execution of various UN-funded undertakings;
- Personal travel of employees of UN Agencies;
Target is to award up to two Long Term Agreements to eligible and qualified travel agencies or travel management companies (TMC) to ensure that the travel needs of the various UN agencies are supported efficiently.
LTA will be used by UNDP and its administered agencies, and other UN Agencies including UNICEF, UN Women, ILO, and UNHCR, who will also piggyback the LTA and sign their own agreement based on UNDP LTA.
