Call for External Collaborator: Senior Social Security Actuary

Dear Bidder, The International Labour Office (ILO) is looking for an individual to undertake work as an External Collaborator. Below is a summary of the work to be performed: The External Collaborator will conduct an actuarial assessment of the proposed National Pension Fund (NPF) in Namibia, building on the NPF design and actuarial assessment developed by the ILO in 2020–2021. The assignment will require the External Collaborator to produce updated demographic and financial projections based on recent data and assumptions, and to reassess the main findings and recommendations of the previous assessment in light of subsequent developments and newly available data and information. The work will also include technical collaboration and capacity building with a local actuary, as well as consultations with the Social Security Commission and other relevant national stakeholders.
