Below is a summary of the work to be performed: The ILO seeks a national consultant to assess the institutional, operational and procedural capacity gap of Somalia’s labour inspection system. The assignment includes a legal and institutional review, development and application of assessment tools, gender-responsive stakeholder consultations, preparation and validation of the assessment findings, and development of a practical, prioritised and time-bound capacity-development roadmap in coordination with the ILO, MOLSA and relevant national stakeholders.
