The lawyer will be expected to apply a desk-based legal review of the briefs and to ensure the original Arabic legal text are accurately interpreted and reflected in the English of these briefs.
The selected lawyer will undertake the following tasks:
A. Review and verification of legal content: The lawyer will review the prepared country briefs and verify their accuracy ensuring the briefs accurately reflect the legal provisions in the labour law of the eight target countries for both private sector workers and domestic workers.
B. Identification of gaps and inconsistencies: Identify where there may be any inconsistencies or gaps of the labour laws in the country briefs.
