Regarding the color, it should be plain for part 1 and 2 and any color or pattern should be identical .Question: Dear Sir/madam,For specification 60*60*8 glazed Saudi/ Chinese or equivalent you mean ceramic or porcelain As per the spesifications and BOQ it is ceramic.Question:For Parts 1 & 2, must the tile design/pattern be identical, or is only the color required to match?Regarding the color, the tiles for Parts 1 and 2 shall be plain, and any proposed color or pattern must be consistent across all tiles.Are Parts 1 & 2 required to come from the same manufacturer/series, or can equivalent products be offered? Dear Bidder, Thank you for your interest in this tender. Answer: Please note that the scope is limited to the supply and delivery of ceramic and wall tiles only. New clarification added: Dear Bidders,Thank you for your interest in this tender.Question:Country of OriginPlease confirm whether ceramic tiles of Indian origin are acceptable under this tender, provided that they fully comply with all specified technical requirements and standardsQuestion:Country of OriginPlease confirm whether ceramic tiles of Egypt origin are also acceptable, provided that they fully comply with all specified technical requirements and standards. Answer: Ceramic tiles of any origin are acceptable, provided they are of first class quality and fully comply with all specified technical requirements and standards.Import, Customs and Destination ChargesAs the delivery is on DAP basis, kindly confirm whether UNOPS will provide the required import/customs documentation and exemptions. In addition pls clarify which, customs duties, taxes, port/terminal bills, SSMO and other destination charges are to be borne by UNOPS and which should be included in the supplier. Answer: Due to tight project schedules and the extensive processing time for custom exemptions in this country context (typically 2–3 months). UNOPS is targeting local suppliers to avoid clearance delays and keep the project on schedule. Delivery Period1- Considering potential regional and shipping delays beyond the supplier’s control, would UNOPS consider extending the delivery period from 21 to 60 days after Contract signature2- Regarding RFQ/2026/64454, we kindly request consideration for extending the delivery lead time from 21 days to 35–40 days after contract signature.This additional time is required due to challenges in confirming the availability of the required items and quantities in accordance with the specified technical requirements.We would appreciate your confirmation on whether the proposed delivery period would be acceptable.Answer: Due to the project’s tight timeline, the delivery period for Part 1 cannot be extended and will remain 21 days. However, the tender has been amended to extend the delivery period for Part 2 only from 21 days to 45 days. Delivery Method for – Parts 1 and 2Please clarify whether both parts are to be delivered separately, or to be delivered progressively through multiple shipments within the required delivery period. If they are to be delivered separately, please confirm whether the specified delivery period applies independently to each Part.Answer: Both Parts will be covered by the same PO, issued on the same date, but they may be delivered separately according to their respective delivery periods. Part 1 shall be delivered within 21 days, while Part 2 shall be delivered within 45 days, both calculated from the PO issuance date.Scope of workThe Delivery Requirements specify DAP, including loading, offloading, and installation. Kindly confirm whether the scope of this tender includes the installation of the supplied wall and floor tiles or its limited to supply and delivery only.
