New clarification added: Question: The file titled "ITB_2026_63393 - Section III - Returnable Bidding Forms A; B; E; F;H - Supply and Delivery of Equipment to Salima Technical College (Industrial Workshop Machinery and Hardware Consumables)" appears to be corrupted and cannot be opened.Answer: The referenced file has been reviewed and verified to be accessible. A functional version of the bidding document is available on the eSourcing platform for access by all prospective bidders. Bidders are advised to download the document from the eSourcing platform and ensure that all required bidding forms are completed and submitted as part of their bid. Question: Can we submit a partial offer ?Answer: Bidders may submit offers for one, multiple, or all lots. However, where a bidder submits an offer for a particular lot, the bidder must offer 100% of the items and 100% of the quantities specified for that lot. Partial offers for individual items or quantities within a lot are not permitted. A bid that does not cover the full scope of a selected lot may be considered technically non-compliant for that lot. Question: Is installation / local assembling requested?Answer: Yes, where assembly is necessary for the equipment to be ready for use, the equipment shall be fully assembled and functionally tested by the Contractor prior to formal acceptance by UNOPS. Any assembly necessary for the equipment to be operational and fit for its intended purpose shall be considered part of the Contractor's delivery obligations and shall be included in the quoted price. Question: As some of the needed units come already assembled do we need to quote for such a service?Answer: No separate charge for assembly or installation is required where the equipment is supplied fully assembled and ready for use. However, the Contractor remains responsible for ensuring that all equipment is delivered in a fully functional and fit-for-purpose condition, including any assembly, installation, testing or commissioning necessary for the equipment to operate as intended. Question: Would you accept deviations from provided specs ?Answer: Bidders are required to offer equipment that complies with the minimum technical specifications stipulated in the UNOPS technical specification sheet. Alternative specifications or deviations from the stated requirements are not permitted unless expressly identified as acceptable in the bidding documents. Where a bidder proposes an alternative specification or deviation that does not comply with a mandatory requirement, the relevant offer may be considered technically non-compliant.
