Description of the Assignment:  UNDP Nigeria invites qualified National Consultants to submit proposals for the development of harmonized contingency plans and comprehensive Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for multi-level risk data management and sharing under the UNDP Sahel Resilience Project in Nigeria.

 

Period of assignment/services: The assignment has a total duration of 25 working days and will be undertaken from Abuja, Nigeria, or remotely from the consultant’s premises, with possible travel as required.

 

The assignment aims to strengthen risk preparedness, early warning systems, coordination, and disaster response across federal, state, and local government levels. The selected consultant will review existing contingency planning frameworks and risk data management systems, identify gaps and inefficiencies, map key stakeholders and data flows, and develop harmonized contingency planning frameworks, standardized templates, and SOPs covering risk data collection, validation, storage, analysis, sharing, and dissemination. The assignment will also include stakeholder consultations, validation workshops, and recommendations for institutionalization and capacity strengthening.

Proposal should be submitted directly in the portal no later than indicated deadline.
