Objectives of the Assignment

The overall objective of this assignment is to design and implement a comprehensive capacity building program that strengthens the ability of:

        ·       Private sector minigrid developers to identify, design, and scale PUE solutions; and

        ·       Public sector institutions to integrate PUE into electrification strategies, policy frameworks, and regulatory processes.

The program is expected to build tangible skills, foster collaboration between stakeholders, and support the practical application of PUE concepts in ongoing and planned minigrid projects.

The design and implementation of the capacity building program shall build on existing AMP knowledge products, tools, and networks related to PUE. In particular, the Consultant is expected to leverage and integrate relevant resources such as the AMP PUE guidance note and the existing sub-Community of Practice on PUE, ensuring alignment with ongoing knowledge-sharing efforts and contributing to the strengthening of the broader AMP learning ecosystem.
