Call for External Collaborator - Consultant to Conduct a Rapid Construction-Sector Skills Gap Assessment in Mogadishu

Dear Bidder, The International Labour Office (ILO) is looking for an individual to undertake work as an External Collaborator. Below is a summary of the work to be performed: The National consultant will conduct a rapid construction-sector skills-gap assessment in Mogadishu to identify priority occupations, employers’ skills need, labour shortages, training and certification gaps, decent-work challenges and employment opportunities. Collect and analyse data from at least 15 construction enterprises, and work with SCCI, MoLSA, ILO, employers, workers' representatives and TVET providers. Use the findings to support establishment of the Construction Sector-Based Dialogue and inform its Roadmap, Terms of Reference, action plan, priorities and follow-up actions.
