Description

The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Rwanda invites qualified engineering consulting firms and consortia to submit proposals for the provision of detailed fire protection and fire-water infrastructure design services for safety and security upgrades at the UNDP Rwanda Country Office compound in Kigali. The assignment includes fire-water demand assessment, hydraulic calculations, sizing and design of reservoirs, pumps, hydrants, hose reels and associated infrastructure, as well as the preparation of detailed engineering drawings, technical specifications, Bills of Quantities (BoQs), cost estimates, and works-ready procurement documentation to support the implementation of the proposed fire protection improvements. 

Interested firms are requested to register and submit their proposals through the UNDP Quantum Supplier Portal before the deadline specified in the solicitation document. Bidders should carefully review the Request for Proposal (RFP) and ensure that their submissions include all required technical and financial documentation, evidence of relevant experience, and qualifications of the proposed experts. A mandatory pre-proposal conference and site visit will be held on Wednesday, 19 August 2026 at 11:00 AM (Kigali Time), as detailed in the solicitation documents.
