Description
The United Nations Support Office in Somalia (UNSOS) intends to establish a Local System Contract for the Commercial Sale of UN Items in Somalia for three (3) months with three (3) optional extension period of each (3 + 3 + 3) subject to satisfactory performance of the contractor and continued need of the services. UNSOS is seeking an Expression of Interest (EOI) from qualified and eligible auctioneers wishing to be considered/included in a submission of bid to sell various types of UN items such as (the below is for indicative purposes only): 1. IT Items - various types of computers & laptops, network equipment, phones and etc. 2. Electrical Items - various types of televisions, ventilation equipment, aviation lightning equipment and etc. 3. Office Equipment - shredders, fax machines, and etc. 4. Sea Containers - 20 ft & 40 ft containers 5. Overhead Security Watch Towers 6. Waste Water Treatment Plants 7. Vehicles - various types and makes of vehicles 8. Prefab Accommodation Materials 9. Generators - various types of generators 10. Containerized Accommodations 11. Electrical Appliances - various types of kitchen equipment, domestic and commercial electrical equipment and etc. 12. Medical and Laboratory Equipment - various types of medical and laboratory equipment 13. Construction Heavy Machineries and Equipment - various types of machines, heavy duty constructions equipment and tools, and etc. Specific Requirements/Information Companies interested in receiving the solicitation documents are requested to submit a written Expression of Interest (EOI) and to include the following information: 1. Company responding to this EOI must be a licensed auctioneer. 2. Company must be registered in UNGM. 3. Company must have a physical presence in Somalia The UN reserves the right to split the award recommendations for the above requirement. This EOI does not constitute a solicitation. UNSOS reserves the right to change or cancel the requirements at any time during the EOI and/or solicitation process. Thus, submitting a reply to this EOI does not automatically guarantee that your firm will be considered for receipt of the solicitation when issued.
