The United Nations Office for Project Services , Horn of Africa Multi Country Office - (hereinafter referred to as UNOPS HAMCO) is pleased to invite competent Bidders to submit their respective competitive Bids for the Supply and Delivery of Submersible Pump and Rising Pipe to the Ministry of Irrigation and Low land Addis Ababa, Ethiopia in accordance with the UNOPS General Conditions of Contract and “Schedule of Requirements” herein uploaded under file ITB_Section_II_Schedule of Requirements.

New amendment added #1: Following a vendor request for clarification, amendment is required in the technical specification part: Weight pipe per meter DN125 Class C will be replaced by DN80.

New clarification added: 1. Vendor Request for ClarificationThe item is described as "GS Riser Pipes 3", L=6m" (i.e. nominal 3-inch / DN80), and the stated dimensional tolerances (max outside diameter 89.5mm, min outside diameter 88.1mm) are consistent with a 3-inch / DN80 pipe. However, the row "Weight pipe per meter DN125 Class C" specifies a mass of 10.5 kg/m and references DN125, which is a different nominal size to DN80. Could you please confirm: Whether the required riser pipe is 3-inch / DN80 (consistent with the stated OD range of 88.1–89.5mm), with the 10.5 kg/m mass figure applying to DN80 Class C; or whether DN125 is in fact the intended nominal size, in which case we would appreciate confirmation of the correct OD range and wall thickness for DN125 Class C.UNOPS Response :The requirement is amended to comply with DN 80. Please see the amended Form D for the revised requirment.2.
