Dear Bidder,
The International Labour Office (ILO) is looking for an individual to undertake work as an External Collaborator.
Below is a summary of the work to be performed: The International Labour Organization (ILO) Bangladesh is seeking qualified individual researchers to undertake Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) research under the national OSH research programme leading to the International OSH Research Conference 2026. The assignment aims to generate high-quality evidence to support OSH policy development, workplace safety improvements, and national research capacity in Bangladesh. Researchers will be responsible for designing and implementing a rigorous research study, including literature review, research design, stakeholder engagement, primary and/or secondary data collection, data analysis, and preparation of evidence-based recommendations. The assignment also requires submission of an inception report, interim progress report, draft research report, conference presentation, final research study, policy brief, research datasets, and financial report. Researchers must present preliminary findings at the International OSH Research Conference to be held in Dhaka in November 2026 and incorporate feedback into the final report. The research will be conducted over a five-month period and should adhere to internationally recognized research ethics, quality assurance standards, and ILO requirements. If you are interested, please express interest and follow the instructions attached to consult the detailed terms of reference and other relevant information in the ILO e-sourcing platform.
