Request for Information - Market Assessment for the Registration, Management, and Commercialization of International Renewable Energy Certificates (I-RECs)

This Request for Information (RFI) is related to the Market Assessment for the Registration, Management, and Commercialization of International Renewable Energy Certificates (I-RECs). Interested vendors are encouraged to submit their responses in-line with the requirements in the RFI document. The Purpose of the RFI is to gather information that will enable UNRWA to: (i) understand the regulatory, technical, and operational requirements for implementing an I-REC programme; (ii) assess available market solutions and commercial models for managing and, where appropriate, trading I-RECs; and (iii) inform the design of any future procurement process, pilot initiative or contractual arrangement, as appropriate. Responses submission deadline is Monday, 17 August 2026 (6:00PM Amman Time)
