New clarification added: In your response dtd August 6, the items ( Operating Tables and Delivery Beds) will be delivered to two locations:1. The Democratic Republic of the Congo, Province du Haut Katanga Kipushi/Muntumpeke (along National Road 1, 70 km from Lubumbashi( 15 Delivery Beds and 10 Operating Tables)2. The Democratic Republic of the Congo, Province de Lulaba, Komesha III (village de Kamoa, RN 39 à 65 km from Kolwezi) (9 Delivery beds and 6 Operating Tables)We find the total Delivery Beds are 24 units instead of 16 units as per indicated by RFQ doc. Would you pls make the allocated quantity of each site/allocation clarified? Response: As indicated in the solicitation documents, the required quantities are as follows:Operating Tables: Total quantity of 16 units, comprising 10 units to be delivered to Haut Katanga (Kipushi/Muntumpeke) and 6 units to be delivered to Lualaba (Komesha III).Delivery Beds: Total quantity of 24 units, comprising 15 units to be delivered to Haut Katanga (Kipushi/Muntumpeke) and 9 units to be delivered to Lualaba (Komesha III).

New clarification added: Subject: Technical Query: Operating Table Height Adjustment Range (Mechanical‑hydraulic type)Dear UNOPS Procurement Team,We are writing to submit a technical feedback regarding the tender requirement for mechanical‑hydraulic operating table with height adjustment range 550 mm‑980 mm.After consulting multiple qualified manufacturers, we confirm that mechanical‑hydraulic operating tables cannot achieve the 550 mm minimum height.1. The mechanical oil pump and tilting swing base structure impose fixed physical height constraints. Manual‑hydraulic / mechanical‑hydraulic units cannot reach 550 mm lowest position.2. To meet 550 mm minimum height requirement, only electro‑hydraulic configuration is technically feasible.We respectfully propose two practical solutions for your evaluation:‑ Option A: Revise the minimum height requirement for mechanical‑hydraulic operating table from 550 mm to 700 mm or 750mm, keeping maximum height at 980 mm. ‑ Option B: Retain 550‑980 mm full height range, and permit electro‑hydraulic table as compliant bid solution.Please advise whether parameter adjustment is acceptable.Kind RegardsResponse: Dear Bidder,Following our review of your comments and in order to promote broader competition, the technical specification will be amended. New clarification added: Question:Dear Sir/Madam,Greetings from KLM Middle East General Trading LLC.In the revised Schedule of Requirements, the specifications state "Power supply requirements: 230 VAC ±10%, 50 Hz, single-phase," which indicates that an electrical operating table is required.However, in the second clarification issued, it is stated that "electrical operation is not a mandatory requirement for either the Universal Operating Table or the Manual Delivery Table."Could you kindly confirm whether the required Universal Operating Table should be manual or electrically operated?We appreciate your clarification and look forward to your response.Best regards,KLM Middle East General Trading LLCResponseWe confirm that the Universal Operating Table is not required to be electrically operated. The required table shall comply with the technical specifications of the bidding document and shall be mechanically and/or hydraulically operated. To avoid any ambiguity, the reference to "Power supply requirements: 230 VAC ±10%, 50 Hz, single-phase" will be removed from the technical specifications, as it is not applicable to the required equipment.

New clarification added: Dear Team,Kindly confirm whether both tables are required to be electrically operated, as shown in the picture provided in the RFQ.The technical specifications, however, do not mention specifically that electrically operated tables are required. Therefore, we request your clarification on whether the electrical operation shown in the image should be considered a mandatory requirement.We look forward to your confirmation.Response: We confirm that electrical operation is not a mandatory requirement for either the Universal Operating Table or the Manual Delivery Table.The images included in the RFQ are provided for illustrative purposes only and shall not be considered as defining the required technical characteristics.The proposed equipment shall comply with the technical specifications stated in the bidding document.Thanks & Regards,
