New clarification added: One of the bidders is asking the following question and UNOPS’s feedback is as below:Question #1 : There was one bidder asking about the required part number whether another part number from Dräger, the different OEM part is acceptable or not and a request for clarification regarding pack size whether it is box of 25. Furthermore, the inquirer sought confirmation on the compliance requirements for quality assurance standards, specifically ISO 13485, CE, and EN 60601-1 as well as other related requirements.UNOPS’s Answer # 1 : UNOPS confirms that the required item is the OEM-compatible disposable breathing circuit for the Dräger Oxylog 1000. Dräger OEM P/N 2M86837 has been identified as the applicable circuit for this ventilator. The description “paediatric ventilator circuit” is under technical review because the available Dräger documentation does not identify P/N 2M86837 as a dedicated paediatric circuit. Bidders shall not substitute another Dräger paediatric circuit, including P/N 5704964, unless they submit written confirmation from Dräger or its authorized representative that the proposed circuit is approved for use with the Oxylog 1000.Regarding QA requirements and other requirements, please provide the certification as applicable for each lot. The bidder is requested to go through Section III - Returnable Bidding Form in which all details are mentioned. Please see further detail in Amendment I and Section III-Returnable-Bidding Form (63881) - Revision 1Question #2 : The bidder requested clarification on DPU terms, specifically regarding import responsibilities, duties, tax exemptions, and customs clearance for Samoa.UNOPS’s Answer #2 : The required incoterm is DPU Final destination in Samoa where the location is mentioned in the Section III. Please note that the selected supplier has to be responsible for customs clearance in Samoa and deliver the consignment to its final destination as mentioned under the Schedule of Requirements under each lot. UNOPS will provide the Tax Exemption Certificate if required and the quoted price shall exclude import duties, tax and Vat.Question #3 : The bidder requested confirmation regarding mode of transportation for Lot 11 - Battery for Patient Monitors about the possibility of shipping this lot through air freight.UNOPS’s Answer #3 : Please be informed that the mode of transportation could be either air or sea depending on the nature of the product as long as it can comply with the delivery requirement. Bidders are strongly encouraged to thoroughly review the delivery parameters detailed in Section III - Returnable Bidding Form to properly evaluate your capacity to supply appropriate products that align with each stated requirement.
