Description
The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) invites qualified manufacturers and equipment integrators to submit quotations for the design, fabrication, structural integration, and preparation for export of a state-of-the-art modular, containerized clean analytical laboratory system (Module B: Clean Analytical Laboratory). This procurement is a core component of the GEF GOLD+: Advancing Formalization and Mercury-Free Gold in Suriname project. Engineered to operate under off-grid, tropical field conditions, this facility must feature a structurally isolated dual room layout comprising a high-dust "Dirty Room" and a climate controlled "Clean Room" capable of executing precise manual batch sample preparation, gravity recoverable gold (GRG) profiling, and pyrometallurgical flux-smelting without the use of mercury. Additionally, the system must be delivered with pre-installed mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic infrastructure to guarantee seamless, future "plug-and-play" integration of Phase 2 analytical chemistry systems (Atomic Absorption Spectrometer and Fire Assay).

A meeting prior to the submission of proposals will be held (pre-bid conference):

The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) invites qualified manufacturers and equipment integrators to submit quotations for the turnkey engineering, procurement, fabrication, testing, and commissioning of a modular, containerized clean analytical and refining laboratory (Module B: Clean Analytical Laboratory). This procurement is a core scientific component of the GEF GOLD+: Advancing Formalization and Mercury-Free Gold in Suriname project. Engineered to operate under remote, off-grid, tropical field conditions, the system must be housed within a single, thermally insulated (R-13) 20-foot High Cube shipping container partitioned into a "Dirty/Prep Room" (for primary crushing, disk pulverizing, drying, and wet sieving) and a climate-controlled "Clean Room" (for 0.0001g micro-weighing on anti-vibration tables, digital microscopy, and mercury-free direct smelting). The turnkey scope covers detailed 3D CAD spatial design (guaranteeing a 15% physical clearance margin), integrated utility manifolds, 3 kVA pure sine-wave UPS protection, Phase 2 analytical readiness (AAS and muffle furnace pre-installations), Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), delivery CIF Paramaribo, Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) at the Tibiti pilot site, and hands-on local operator training.

Interested suppliers must submit their offer directly in the system as instructed in the solicitation document, following the instructions in the available user guide. In case you have never registered before, you can register a profile using the registration link shared via the procurement notice and following the instructions in guides available in the UNDP website: https://www.undp.org/procurement/business/resources-for-biddersDo not create a new profile if you already have one.
