New clarification added: Dear Bidder, Thank you for your interest in this tender, Answers: Door vision panels: is laminated glass accepted instead of tempered?               No, only tempered glass is accepted.2.      If not, is plain glass accepted on low-traffic doors, with safety glass only on OT, ICU, CSSD and corridors?      Yes, plain glass is acceptable for doors with low traffic.3.      What thickness for vision panels? The spec only mentions 6mm plain for fanlights. Please refer to amended Bill of quantity 4.      “6mm tough wood glass” — is this toughened glass? Yes, it is toughened glass.5.      Is double glazing (6mm toughened + 7.5mm laminated) required on all windows, or is single 6mm accepted for internal and service rooms? Please refer to amended Bill of quantity 6.      What cavity width and spacer for the double-glazed units?Please refer to amended Bill of quantity Doors7.      D4 and D9 are fire-rated aluminum. What rating is required, and what certificate must we submit?A 60-minute fire rating is required, accompanied by a laboratory fire test report that complies with the BS EN 1634-1 standard.8.      Is a certified steel fire door accepted instead? Yes, this will be accepted.9.      D9 is on the drawings but not in the BoQ. Do we price it? Door D9 is listed in the BoQ under item no. 1.11(part 2).10.  Brass hinges won’t work on D6 and D7 double-swing doors. Are floor springs required, and are they in the rate?Double-acting hinges can be used for double-swing doors; a floor spring is not required.11.  What aluminum series, wall thickness, finish and color? Thermal break or not?Aluminum series: as specified in the tender documents. The wall thickness is 25 cm, the finish color shall be light grey, and no thermal break is required. 12.  Is the work Part 1 and Part 2, or Part 2 only? Schedule 2 and Schedule 3.1 say different things.The scope of work encompasses both Part 1 and Part 2.13.  D6 Part 2: drawings say 5, BoQ says 9. Which? The quantity of D6 is 3 in Part 2.14.  G1 Part 2: drawings say 2, BoQ says 1. Which? The Quantity of G1 Is 2 as the drawings 15.  G2 is priced in both parts but only drawn in Part 1. Is it 2 or 3? Please refer to amended Bill of quantity16.  Louvers: 3 or 6? ARC-16 shows three openings on a sheet used for both parts.The total number of louvers is 6 (3 in each part) please see sheet No ARC-1617.  Louvers priced per opening or per m²? Please refer to amended Bill of quantity 18.  Partitions are named in the scope but not in the BoQ. Are they included? There are no partitions included in this phase.19.  Any demolition or making-good of openings?Includes any required preparatory work for the installation of windows and doors. However, UNOPS is entitled to customs and tax exemptions when procuring goods directly from overseas under its own importation arrangements.)? is this mean that the goods will be shipped under UNOPS name & subjected custom exemption 2- Question: Dear Sirwe would like to calrificay if Is it possible to fill aluminum honeycomb?  Dear Bidder, Thak you for your interest in this tender Q1- Answer: No. Customs and tax exemptions apply only when goods are imported directly by UNOPS under its own importation arrangements. Suppliers should not assume that customs exemption will apply to their proposed importation.Q2- Answer: Bidders are strictly required to adhere to the technical requirements and specifications set out in the tender documents.
