New clarification added: Dear Bidder, Question #1: The technical specifications require the external wall to be finished with "Marine-Grade Primer & Paint" and the internal walls with "16 mm plywood lining" and the ceiling with "9.5 mm Gypsum Board." However, no specific color (e.g., RAL code, Pantone, or UN standard color) is specified for either the exterior or the interior finish.Could you please advise:Does UNOPS have a specific color requirement (exterior and/or interior) that we must comply with?If no specific color is mandated, are we permitted to propose our own standard industry colors (e.g., light grey interior, standard grey or OEM color exterior) for the quotation?We would appreciate your guidance on this matter to ensure our proposal fully aligns with your expectations.UNOPS Response to Question #1:Thank you for your question.At this stage, UNOPS does not specify a fixed color (e.g., RAL, Pantone, or other color code) for the exterior paint, interior plywood lining, or ceiling gypsum board.Following contract award, the successful bidder will be required to submit samples of the proposed marine-grade paint, plywood lining, gypsum board, and other finishing materials from three reputable, high-quality manufacturers for UNOPS review and approval. The UNOPS Engineer will evaluate the samples and select the most suitable quality and color for the exterior paint, interior plywood lining, and ceiling gypsum board during the implementation stage.Therefore, bidders are requested to price the highest quality materials that fully comply with the technical specifications. The final selection of colors and the approval of finishing materials will be made by UNOPS during the work progress after contract award and upon review of the submitted samples.Thank you UNOPS Procurement Team
