Description
United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) is launching a tender for the supply of 18 electric Tuk‑Tuks to the Gedaref State in Sudan, including associated spare parts as well as operations and maintenance services, to support the greening of transport. This procurement seeks qualified vendors offering robust, reliable electric tricycles capable of operating in rural conditions where current mobility relies on petrol‑powered three‑wheelers. The selected supplier will contribute to improving rural mobility, strengthening local economic activity, and reducing reliance on volatile fuel supply chains through the introduction of clean, affordable, and efficient electric vehicles.

 The objective of this assignment is to deliver: 

  1. 18 electric cargo tricycles, including the provision of spare parts, warranty, and after-sales services. 
  2. A Charging Hub for electric cargo tricycles, including the associated electrical infrastructure; and  
  3. The identified tools and safety equipment for the maintenance and repair of electric cargo tricycles. 
Important dates for this tender: 
  1. Confirmation of participation in Optional Pre-Bid Site Visit and Bidders Conference: Friday, July 31st by close of business
  2. Optional Pre-Bid Site Visit: Monday, August 3rd at 1:00 pm Central Africa Time (Sudan)
  3. Bidders’ Conference: Wednesday, August 5th at 10:00 am Central Africa Time (Sudan)
  4. Request for Clarification Deadline: Friday, August 7th, by close of business
  5. Offer Submission: 5PM CEST
