UNDP/RFQ/2026/32 - CO - Long Term Agreement (LTA) for the provision of messenger services for UN House

             UNDP on behalf of participating UN agencies (FAO, UNAIDS, UNCDF, UNDP, UNDSS, UNFPA, UNICEF, UNODC, UNRCO, UNWOMEN and WHO) in UN House is seeking a reliable company registered with the Government of Nepal to provide professional messenger services both internal and external under the terms and conditions outlined below. The Long-Term Agreement (LTA) will be initially for one year and may be extended for two additional years by mutual agreement of the Parties, subject to performance.

          The objective of this contract is to deliver professional messenger services to designated United Nations (UN) agencies, ensuring the timely, secure, and efficient delivery of official documents, parcels, and correspondence both within the UN House (internal) and throughout the Kathmandu Valley (external).

 The contractor shall be fully accountable for the performance of messenger services and the conduct of personnel assigned to the United Nations in Nepal. Any loss or damage resulting from negligence on the part of the contractor’s staff will be the sole responsibility of the contractor

The contractor shall provide both internal and external messenger services to support the operational needs of UN agencies located within the UN House, Lalitpur, Pulchowk and at other designated UN offices across the Kathmandu Valley.

The primary responsibilities include the collection and delivery of mail, documents, and parcels between the central mail room and various UN agencies, in accordance with the approved dispatch and receipt schedule. Services must be carried out efficiently, securely, and in a timely manner.
