Dear Bidder, The International Labour Office (ILO) is looking for an individual to undertake work as an External Collaborator. Below is a summary of the work to be performed: - Conduct a comprehensive review of three labour laws of Kenya to identify gaps, inconsistencies, and areas requiring reform. - Assess their alignment with the Constitution of Kenya (2010), relevant rulings and decisions of the Employment and Labour Relations Court, and international labour standards, and propose the necessary amendments. - Engage key stakeholders, including workers, employers, trade unions, and government institutions, to gather inputs and validate proposed reforms. - Based on the review and consultations, prepare revised legislative provisions and policy recommendations, and present the findings and proposed amendments to the relevant government authorities for consideration.
