Description
The United Nations seeks to engage the srevices of a qualified vendor for the provision of Drinking Water Treatment and Storage Systems and intends to establish a Global Systems Contract for the design and built of modular drinking water treatment systems. The scope of the contract includes the design, manufacture, testing, supply, delivery, installation, commissioning, training, warranty support, after-sales services, provision of spare parts and consumables, water quality laboratories, water storage systems, and all associated infrastructure. The systems will be deployable in Peacekeeping Missions, Special Political Missions, Humanitarian Operations, and other United Nations field locations worldwide. The qualified vendors are invited to provide the design, manufacture, supply, testing, packaging, and delivery of plug-and-play modular drinking water treatment systems and associated equipment, including but not limited to: • Plug-and-play factory assembly of specialized treatment equipment in a certified ISO container, designed to be shipped without requiring an additional container; • Drinking water treatment plants and desalination systems; • Brine treatment and management systems; • Water storage tanks (bladder, onion-type, FRP, HDPE, and elevated storage systems); • Water intake systems and distribution accessories; • Water quality testing laboratories and field-testing equipment; • Reagents, chemicals, consumables, and calibration standards; • Spare parts, specialist tools, repair kits, and maintenance equipment; and • Associated electrical, instrumentation, control, communication, and monitoring systems. The detailed scope of requirements will be provided in the Request for Proposal (RFP), which will be sent out to all vendors responding to this EOI. No further detail can be made available prior to the issuance of the RFP solicitation. NOTE: Due to the expected high volume of communications, please follow the instructions below: 1. Specific Requirements/Information Interested vendors must response no later than 13 August 2026. The response form must be completed in full. This REOI does not constitute a Solicitation; responding to the REOI does not guarantee that the Vendor will be invited to participate in the Solicitation when issued. The UN reserves the right to change or cancel the procurement at any time during the REOI process or the formal Solicitation process. The UN reserves the right to send the Solicitation Documents to Vendors who were identified through additional market research or other means to source the UN requirements.
