New clarification added: Dear UNOPS Procurement Team,I would appreciate your clarification regarding the Export License Requirement and the End User Certificate (EUC) / End User Undertaking (EUU).Based on our signed contract and our experience supplying similar goods to Somalia over the past five years, these documents have not previously been requested nor identified as mandatory. In light of this, could you kindly confirm whether an Export License and EUC/EUU are mandatory requirements for this procurement?Your clarification will assist us in ensuring full compliance with the procurement requirements.Thank you for your support, and we look forward to your response. Please note that the requirement for an Export License and/or an End User Certificate (EUC) or End User Undertaking (EUU) depends on the applicable laws and export control regulations of the country from which the goods will be exported. Accordingly, these documents are not automatically mandatory in all cases, and UNOPS does not determine whether they are required.Bidders are kindly requested to consult with their suppliers and/or the relevant export authorities to confirm whether an Export License and an EUC/EUU will be required for the proposed shipment.Where an EUC or EUU is required to support the export licensing process, UNOPS will facilitate the preparation and processing of the relevant document.
