Under the project ‘Health Information Quality Improvement’ funded by the The Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria (GFATM), the Ministry of Health & Mass Media in Sri Lanka aims to digitize several hospitals across Sri Lanka. In support of this initiative, this RFQ aims to select a qualified supplier/s for the Supply & Delivery of ICT equipment to Regional and Institutional Quality Management Units of Ministry of Health and Mass Media.

New clarification added: Clarification 4We seek clarification regarding the pricing requirements stated in the RFQ. The document requests a DAP Unit Price. We would appreciate it if you could clarify the cost components that should be included or excluded when quoting the DAP Unit Price.Furthermore, if we are submitting an Ex-Stock quotation, kindly advise how the DAP Unit Price should be presented under this pricing method.Pricing should be as per DAP Incoterm 2020.

New clarification added: Clarification 3Laptop Computers:Please confirm whether Intel Core Ultra 5 processors are acceptable under the requirement for “Intel Core i5 14th Generation or later.” Also, may processors with cache below 20 MB be accepted if their overall performance meets or exceeds the required level?Please refer to ‘Section II: Schedule of Requirements_R2’. Bidders must strictly adhere to the original requirements in the Bidding Document & meet the minimum specifications of the criteria. Bidders may provide a later processor, a higher base frequency, and a higher cache as required.Desktop Computers:Please confirm whether DDR5-5600 MHz RAM may be accepted in place of DDR5-6000 MHz, as this is the standard supported speed in many current OEM enterprise desktop models.This point has already been addressed in clarification 1. Please refer to ‘Section II: Schedule of Requirements_R2’. UPS:Please confirm whether a UPS with two internal batteries is acceptable. Kindly also clarify how the requirement of more than seven minutes backup at full load will be verified.Yes, this is acceptable. Please refer to ‘Section II: Schedule of Requirements_R2’. New clarification added: Clarification 2As the 18% VAT is applicable for all transactiuons, please let us know what document UNOPS can provide to us to avoid the Vat being charged for transactions.Please send us the Vat exempt document for our clarification purpose.The prices for this RFQ shall be quoted excluding VAT and other taxes. VAT will be paid at the time of payment by the Ministry of Health & Mass Media to the selected supplier.

You have requested below spec.Processor - Option 1: Intel® Core i5 14th Generation Processor or Later - Option 2: AMD Ryzen™ 5 8000 Series Processor or LaterBase Frequency - Intel: 2.1GHz or Higher - AMD: 3.8GHz or HigherCache - Intel: 20MB Smart Cache or Higher - AMD: 20MB (L3) Cache or HigherBut 14th generation is now almost End of production & replaced with Ultra generation processors. Basic Ultra processor is Ultra 5-120u processor. It has below specifications.Base Frequency - Intel: 1.4GHz or HigherCache - Intel: 12MB Smart Cache or HigherWe suggested to change the processor specification as per latest generation processor.Bidders must strictly adhere to the original requirements in the Bidding Document. To meet the minimum specifications of the criteria, bidders may provide a later processor, a higher base frequency, and a higher cache.2. Further SD™ card reader is now dying technology & not using any one.
