Description

The WHO–Kanagawa Partnership on NCDs and Healthy Ageing in the Western Pacific was established through a strategic partnership between WHO Regional Office for the Western Pacific and Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan, to address these challenges.

The Initiative draws on the experience of Japan as the world’s first super-aged society and seeks to share knowledge, experience, and context-appropriate approaches developed in super-aged settings to inform policies and programmes across the region. It focuses on applied research, innovation, and knowledge translation that directly support Member States in strengthening policies, programmes, and systems for NCD prevention and healthy ageing across the life course.

Within this context, WHO is issuing this Request for Proposal (RFP) to support implementation-oriented research and evidence-to-policy activities that respond to clearly articulated policy and programme needs in the Region.
