Description
The United Nations, Department of Operational Support (DOS), seeks appropriately qualified contractors to establish one or more Global Systems Contract(s) (initial duration of three (3) years with the option for two (2) additional one-year extensions at the sole discretion of the UN) for the supply of LED Lights, Electrical Cables, and Circuit Breakers (and related accessories) on an “as and when required” basis. The requirement is divided into the following three (3) Lots. Vendors may bid on one or more Lots, but partial bids within a single Lot will not be considered: • Lot 1: LED Lights (various indoor, outdoor, floodlights, streetlights, emergency lights, panels, linear, etc.) • Lot 2: Electrical Cables (H1Z2Z2-K, H07RN-F, H07V-K and equivalents) • Lot 3: Circuit Breakers (MCBs, RCBOs, MCCBs) A detailed Statement of Requirements (SOR) including technical specifications , Bill of Quantities , and other relevant documents will be provided in the subsequent solicitation stage. Key Requirements Summary: • All items must be brand new, of high quality, and suitable for harsh environmental conditions (desert, tropical, high-altitude, coastal, etc.). • Full compliance with international standards (IEC, IEEE, EN, ISO, ASTM, DIN, or equivalent). • Products must meet or exceed the detailed technical specifications in the SOR. • Packaging and transportation must comply with international shipping standards, including palletization requirements. The full technical requirements, administrative instructions, evaluation criteria, and bidding documents will be provided in the Invitation to Bid (ITB) or equivalent solicitation document issued at a later stage. Specific Requirements/Information 1. The UN reserves the right to reject responses to this Expressions of Interest that are received after the stated deadline. 2. UN Procurement Division (UNPD) reserves the right to change or cancel the requirement at any time during the EOI and/or solicitation process. Thus, submitting a reply to this REOI does not automatically guarantee that your company will be considered for receipt of the solicitation when issued.
