New clarification added: Question 1: Scope of Work Section 7, 7.1 STANDALONE UNITS: Is there already a WAN-connected device? Response 1: YES.Question 2: Scope of Work Section 7, 7.1 STANDALONE UNITS: Is it safe to assume that these devices are already configured, or are we the ones who will configure them? Response 2: The supplier shall deliver the Edge Gateway units pre-installed with a core / basic Ubuntu 26.04 LTS OS and ssh service only. Credential details and machine hardening shall be discussed during the initial kick-off meeting.Question 3: Scope of Work Section 7, 7.3 INSTALLATION, CONFIGURATION, and COMMISSIONING: Is there already an existing Network Infrastructure in place? Response 3: YES.Question 4: Scope of Work Section 7, 7.3 INSTALLATION, CONFIGURATION, and COMMISSIONING: Is there already a pre-crimped cable from the site, or are we going to provide our Tech guys. Response 4: The supplier shall provide patch cables to connect biometric terminals to pre-positioned RJ45 sockets.Question 5: What will be our action if the chosen site's infrastructure is not ready for the required setup? Response 5: Final site deployment list shall be identified, together with the supplier, during the initial kick-off meeting. Any concerns regarding deployment will be addressed during this meeting.Question 6: Are we still responsible for doing the Infrastructure installation (Structured cabling, MDF to IDF termination?) Response 6: NO.Question 7: Are we still responsible for Data Cabinet Installation if none is present within the chosen area? Response 7: NO.Question 8: On a scheduled date, if the ICO or person in charge is not around, can we still proceed with our work? OR will there be someone else who will take over and guide our activity? Response 8: The deployment schedule will be established during the kick-off meeting, and a designated OCM-ICO representative will always be present during the deployment.Question 9: In a remote, far-flung area, can we request security for our personnel or are we the one who will provide? Response 9: Most of the sites and offices of the OCM are situated in Cotabato City, in and around the Bangsamoro Government Center with some offices in Manila. There would not be any deployment or movement in remote and far-flung areas.
