New clarification added: Dear Bidders, Thank you for your interest in this tender. UNOPS responses to the clarifications as follows: Question 1: In part one General/ section 1&2 you mentioned the following: 1.415V, 50Hz, TP+N power factor 0.8（lagging）Prime 400 kVA Standby 440 kVA2. The Diesel Generator engine output power, alternator, controller, and all accessories to besized for maximum outdoor ambient temperature 50Co and proving technical data sheets to besubmitted with technical documentswhile in section 2.2 A/ Part 2you mentionedProvide stand-by packaged type electrical power diesel engine-driven, turbochargedgenerator assembly units, site rated as shown at a governed speed of 1500 RPM at 80percent power factor for continuous operation, 415/240 V, 50 Hz at 50°C deratedaccording to site elevation for altitude ≥1000m and humidity≥90.Does it mean your operating load is 400KVA in these conditions 50C and 1000 m altitudeOr the engine will operate in these conditions?Normally it should be stated clearly if this is the load or the generator designed load...If this is the load then you would not say the standby is 440KVA..you will say this my load and the engine would not be exiplicitly described....We can upgrade the engine or the alternator to avoid the derating that will accompany the humidity and the altitude while operating in 50C...Answer: The two points convey the same requirement. However, the first point has been included to emphasize that the generator unit must be rated for continuous operation at an ambient temperature of 50°C, as many suppliers offer units designed for the standard ambient temperature of 25°C. Such units will not meet the project requirements and will therefore be considered non-compliant and rejected.Question 2: 2.Now the No of units reduced to only one instead of two.Answer: Yes, only one (1) generator set is required.Question 3: External fuel tank is added with extra costAnswer: As specified in the technical requirements, the generator shall be supplied with both an integral fuel tank providing 24 hours of operation and a 500-liter external fuel tank.Question 4: As per your requirement of 400 kva prime and 440 kva standby at 50 degrees c and 1000m Altitude and    400kva prime will have deration upto 2% ( i can attached deration chart)  So please advise if 2% deration is accepted which will give 392kva prime and 441kva standby or we have to go with next size which is 450kva Prime and 500 kva standby and this will engine does not have any deration at 50 degrees C ( can share deration chart on request). Answer: No derating will be accepted. The generator set shall fully comply with the specified rated output of 400 kVA Prime and 440 kVA Standby at an ambient temperature of 50°C and an altitude of 1,000 m, without any reduction in capacity.Question 5: Also regardng Attenuation 65-70 dBA at 3meter is right or it is at 7 meter. If we add more insulation then we have design customised genset to increase canopy size so as  to fit air supply design at 110% load without heating genset . Please adviseAnswer: As per the tender specification, the required noise level is 70 dB(A) ±3 at 1 meter from the generator set with the soundproof canopy.
