Dear Bidder, The International Labour Office (ILO) is looking for an individual to undertake work as an External Collaborator. Below is a summary of the work to be performed: The International Labour Office (ILO) is seeking an external collaborator to provide psychosocial support, counselling, and well-being services for ILO staff, and to advise managers on staff and team well-being, resilience and psychosocial risk mitigation, including during periods of organizational change, restructuring, reform initiatives and evolving ways of working. The external collaborator will provide confidential psychosocial support within agreed professional standards; deliver psychological first aid following critical incidents or trauma; and facilitate joint case management within ILO and, where required, with UNDSS/CISMS. The assignment will also include designing, facilitating or co-facilitating training and awareness-raising activities for staff and managers on mental health and well-being in the workplace, with a focus on adaptation and resilience. The external collaborator will support the development of the Africa Peer Support Volunteers group through coaching and training activities, update the existing Peer Support Volunteers online training module, and deliver related training to ILO staff. The work will also include drafting staff communications, articles and intranet content on mental health and well-being, and maintaining confidential records and statistics in line with confidentiality requirements and professional practice standards, including periodic updates on emerging issues and recommended remedial actions.
