ITB/2026/63405;Q 1: Payment trigger: For FCA delivery, is the 30-day payment period counted from UNOPS's collection of the goods at the exit point in China, or from the beneficiary's final reception/acceptance at the destination country?Ans1: Payment will be processed within 30 days from the date the goods are handed over to the UNOPS-appointed freight forwarder.Q 2:Certification for China-manufactured goods: (a) Is CE marking issued by an EU Notified Body accepted for goods manufactured in China? (b) Does China NMPA registration qualify as the "marketing authorization or local health registration in the country of manufacture"?Ans 2: CE marking issued by an EU notified body will be acceptable.An NMPA registration acts exclusively as legal authorization to sell a product within China. We need legal proof that the manufacturer can distribute and sell health-related products in the target regionQ 3: Bid Security: Is Bid Security required for this ITB? Please be advised that this requirement is distinct from the obligation to ensure the availability of spare parts for a minimum duration of five (5) years.Q 6 :Award by lot: Can a bidder submit for, and be awarded, a single lot only?Ans 6: Bidders may submit price quotations for one or more Lots defined within this solicitation. For each selected Lot, bidders must propose 100% of the specified items and quantities.
